"His Eminence Metropolitan Evangelos of New Jersey honored us with his presence and remarked: "You`ve created a warm community atmosphere and everyone enjoyed themselves!" Father Emmanuel Pratsinakis commented: "Your Annunciation community seems to be going through a renaissance." A big thank you to Zaffie Zoubroulis and Sophia Penning for chairing the event and doing such a great job with all the details! "We celebrate their good works and all the women of our community`s good works together with the Theotokos!" Let us as a community thank them for being great role models for our daughters and sons!
We also would like to thank our Philoptochos Society "Nausica" for the delicious homemade desserts and Andrea Falbo for creating the center piece cake. Our youth sang the National Anthems and Apolytikion of the Annunciation, and preformed Greek folk dances under the direction of our dance instructor Dino Charalambides. Finally, thank you to all those who attended and to the following Benefactors whose generosity helped make our event possible: Peter and Susan Gouris family, Peter and Christina Hadgimallis family, Lancers Diner, Peter and Stella Nikolopoulos Family, Philip Pappas, Alex and Diane Saphos Family, Anthony Vraim Funeral Home.
We would also like to thank those who donated and prepared the Sunday luncheon in honor of his Eminence Metropolitan Evangelos after the Hierarchical Divine Liturgy: Greg Louridas, George Vlahos, A J Falbo, Vicki Aristoklis and Jim Verros for their stewardship of time, talent and treasure. Thank you!
Peter Gouris, Parish Council President.
We Would Like to Thank Our Parishioners and All Our Supporters for a most memorable evening last Saturday night as we celebrated our feast day at the Buck Hotel. It was wonderful to see our venue filled with all those lively people! It was an evening with heartfelt warmth and unity for our parish. Many thanks to our VFW ELEFTHERIA Post, GOYA youth, Andrea Falbo for the spectacular cake she made for our event, Lisa Trivelis and Argie Fentross for book-keeping and seating, The OPA Band, and anyone else who shared in this unforgettable evening with us.
